Susie Nichols has been an occupational therapist since 1993. She then applied to the University of Washington Medical School where she was accepted for the Bachelor's of Science in Occupational Therapy. Friday Harbor has been her home since 2007, she lives here with her husband George and her little Corgi, Sweet Pea. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, cooking, painting, and photography.
George Nichols joined Susie in the the San Juan Islands in 2012. As an enthusiastic chess player and an eclectic wanderer, he has found his niche providing home health care here in Friday Harbor. You can come hear him sing barbershop any Thursday night with the Island Chordsmen Plus at Village-at-the-Harbor. He is honored to support Susie in her work as he slowly steals her dog.
Sweet Pea was born in 2009. She is a proud graduate of Puppy Einstein. She is well versed in keeping her people in line and encouraging them to exercise regularly. She believes in a play based philosophy, enjoying chasing sticks, balls, and birds.
