Susie Nichols has been an occupational therapist since 1993. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Genetics and Cellular Biology at Washington State University but found that she needed more interaction with people than the genetics lab had to offer. She then applied to the University of Washington Medical School where she was accepted for the Bachelor's of Science in Occupational Therapy. Friday Harbor has been her home since 2007, she lives here with her Corgis, Sweet Pea and Lyra. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, cooking, painting, cycling, and photography.
Sweet Pea was born in 2009. She is a proud graduate of Puppy Einstein. She is well versed in keeping her people in line and encouraging them to exercise regularly. She believes in a play based philosophy, enjoys chasing sticks, balls, and birds.
Lyra joined our office in 2017, she was six years old when she came to us. Her greatest love is sleeping on people's feet. She is always happy to have foot petting. Lyra enjoys lightly tugging on toys while pretending to growl like a bear.
